The minimum opening deposit for a Personal Checking Account is $25.

The Personal Checking Account does not earn interest.

It’s good to have a few things handy so you can open your Personal Checking Account easily and quickly.

  • Your Social Security Number or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)
  • A U.S. government-issued photo ID (like a driver’s license, passport, state, or military ID)
  • A U.S. checking or savings account to fund your new account
  • An active email address

You can add money a few ways:

  • Transfer money between your different AAA accounts
  • Transfer money between your AAA account and your non-AAA banking accounts
  • Use our mobile app to deposit checks
  • Set up direct deposit for your paychecks
  • Add money via wire transfer

Your checking account number is located at the bottom of your checks. The account number is also located on the back of your Account Agreement and on your account statement.

What’s the routing number?

Bill pay service allows you to pay your bills right from your computer. Instead of writing checks, buying stamps, and rushing to get them out the door on time, you can pay your bills easily and quickly (stamp-free!) from your AAA account. Bill pay is an added feature to your Personal Checking Account.

Yes. You’ll get a AAA debit card when you open a Personal Checking Account.

You can use the AAA debit card a few different ways:

  • Make purchases worldwide, even at businesses that typically don’t accept checks, like gas stations, restaurants, and online merchants. 
  • Make cash withdrawals from your checking or savings account from ATMs and point-of-sale terminals. 
  • Monitor your balance and transfer funds between your checking and savings accounts at most ATMs.

Yes. The daily limit for ATM withdrawals is $800.

Yes, the Debit Card Pin number can be changed by calling 833.995.2869.
